The challenge
Bookings come in through several channels. Every booking needs cleaning and check-in shifts scheduled in Connecteam, the app the team uses to manage its shifts, and every change or cancellation has to end up there too.
On top of that, there was a need for a single overview of all shifts, regardless of which channel a booking came from.
What I did
I built workflows in n8n that fetch bookings from the different channels and automatically create and update the matching cleaning and check-in shifts in Connecteam.
For the overview I built an application with a React front end and a serverless backend on Cloudflare Workers, deployed on Cloudflare. There is no server of its own to maintain.
Results
- Shifts are created and updated automatically for new and changed bookings
- One overview of all cleaning and check-in shifts, whatever the booking channel
- Serverless on Cloudflare, with no server to manage
